Senior Compliance Manager

The Senior Compliance Manager at Eqvilent will lead critical compliance projects within the company's framework, requiring deep expertise in financial markets regulations and strong project management skills. This role demands a self-sufficient and accountable individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.

Key responsibilities include leading major compliance projects such as implementing new regulatory requirements across specific markets or asset classes, integrating compliance for new market access or trading venues, and managing regulatory remediation projects and control enhancements. The role also involves overseeing regulatory reporting requirements, including transaction reporting, position reporting, and regulatory capital calculations, as well as managing regulatory examinations and inquiries.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field, with a Master's or JD preferred. Relevant professional certifications, such as Series 7, 24, or 57, are also desired. A minimum of 7-10 years of compliance experience in financial services, including at least 3 years in electronic or algorithmic trading, is required. Strong project management skills, analytical abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
