Senior Complex Litigation Attorney

The Madison, New Jersey office is seeking a Senior Complex Litigation Attorney to join their team, offering a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.
The Senior Complex Litigation Attorney will independently manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include handling all aspects of litigation, such as trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositions. The role also involves working closely with partners and colleagues in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and providing timely case updates and strategic guidance to clients through regular reporting and direct communication.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in New Jersey. A minimum of 8 years of defense litigation experience is required, preferably in personal injury, general liability, catastrophic injury, or transportation. Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service. Experience with client-facing responsibilities and managing complex matters is highly valued, and legal project management experience is preferred. First chair trial experience is a plus.
The position offers a salary range of $190,000 to $225,000, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
