Senior Business Intelligence Specialist
NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join our central BI team, serving as the primary analytics partner for our Technology organization and its supporting Finance team. This role focuses on enhancing engineering efficiency, capacity, delivery metrics, and public cloud expenditure analysis. As a leading cloud-based content management platform for legal professionals, NetDocuments offers a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Key responsibilities include developing strong relationships with engineering leaders, product managers, and finance partners to translate complex business questions into clear analyses and self-service reporting. The specialist will build a unified view of public cloud spending, develop efficiency metrics, track migration progress from private to public cloud, and identify optimization opportunities. Additionally, the role involves modernizing existing tech operations and engineering efficiency reports by integrating them into the company's standard architecture with proper models, governance, and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on BI and analytics experience, particularly in supporting senior stakeholders. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI (including DAX, semantic modeling, and performance tuning), and familiarity with modern cloud data stacks like Snowflake are essential. Experience with engineering efficiency metrics, public cloud spend analysis, and a solid understanding of dimensional modeling concepts are highly desirable.
NetDocuments offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 per year, with 90% of healthcare premiums covered by the company.
