Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst at Black Duck Software, Inc. will play a pivotal role in enhancing Salesforce-based business processes, particularly focusing on the post-sale lifecycle. Key responsibilities include acting as a Business Analyst for Salesforce initiatives, writing clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira, facilitating backlog grooming and refinement sessions, and serving as a liaison between Product Owners and technical teams. The role also involves translating business needs into well-defined solution requirements, maintaining master requirement documentation, aligning with development and DevOps teams on release planning, and promoting Agile/Scrum principles within the team.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable role, with a strong background supporting Salesforce CRM in a high-tech environment. An understanding of post-sales and support practices is essential. Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management and defect tracking, as well as experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams, is required. Proven ability to conduct process analysis, document requirements, and recommend improvements is also necessary.
The base salary range for this role is between $91,900 and $137,900 USD annually. In addition, this role may be eligible for a bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package, with actual compensation based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and education.
