Senior BI Developer
BrainRocket is seeking a Senior BI Developer to join our dynamic team in Birkirkara, Malta. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various data teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, as well as developing and maintaining complex data models to support generic BI reporting needs. Additionally, you will implement row or user-based security models, ensure data accuracy through regular validation checks, create ad-hoc reports as needed, provide technical support for BI tools, monitor system performance, and maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, with strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is essential. Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms is also required.
