Senior BI Developer
BrainRocket is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior BI Developer to join our dynamic team in Valencia, Spain. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products for clients across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we have rapidly expanded our presence across Europe. This role is office-based in Valencia, with comprehensive relocation support provided for eligible candidates and their family members.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with other Data teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, as well as developing and maintaining complex data models to support generic BI reporting needs. Additionally, you will implement row or user-based security models, ensure data accuracy through regular validation checks and audits, create ad-hoc reports based on specific business needs, provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI tools and reports, monitor system performance to meet required standards, and maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, with strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms is also required.
