Senior BI and AI Engineer

The Senior BI and AI Engineer at Eurofins is a pivotal role within the company's IT Solutions division, focusing on enhancing analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities. Key responsibilities include designing and developing end-to-end data pipelines encompassing ingestion, modeling, governance, and visualization. The role involves implementing Azure-based analytics solutions utilizing services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Key Vault. Additionally, the engineer will build and optimize Power BI dashboards, integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing business applications, and develop solutions using Python and C# for scalable computation. Participation in Agile delivery processes, design discussions, and code reviews is also expected.

Candidates must possess strong SQL skills, including optimization and performance tuning, and have hands-on experience with the Azure cloud ecosystem. Proficiency in designing dashboards and BI solutions using Power BI is essential. Programming experience in Python and C# (.NET Core) is required, along with exposure to AI, machine learning, and the ability to integrate AI models into solutions via APIs. A solid understanding of data warehousing, semantic modeling, and enterprise reporting is also necessary.
