Senior Backend Engineer, SaaS Platform
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Censys, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our SaaS platform, which provides comprehensive internet visibility and security solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services that support our platform's core functionalities. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new features, optimize system performance, and ensure the reliability of our services. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of our development processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with experience in building and maintaining scalable distributed systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or similar is essential. A solid understanding of cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and database technologies is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment are crucial for success in this position.
