Senior Android Engineer
Fever is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain native Android applications primarily using Kotlin, adhering to Android best practices and Google design guidelines. Your responsibilities will include managing asynchronous workflows with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, applying SOLID principles to ensure clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with the team to implement improvements using Jetpack libraries. Additionally, you will work closely with product, hardware, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions in high-throughput, real-time environments.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as a native Android developer, with strong proficiency in Kotlin and the ability to read and maintain Java code in a mixed codebase. A solid understanding of the Android ecosystem, including Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, Coroutines, and dependency injection with Dagger or Hilt, is essential. Experience with offline/online support, background tasks, or multi-process architectures is also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously are crucial for success in this role.
Fever offers an attractive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from €50,000 to €65,000, with the potential for total compensation between €67,500 and €90,000, which includes base, variable, and stock options.
