Senior Analytics Manager - Grow & Engage
N26 Bank is seeking a Senior Analytics Manager to lead the analytics strategy within the Grow & Engage domain, focusing on Engagement, Primary Banking, and Subscriptions. This role involves managing a team of up to seven data analysts and driving complex strategic and technical initiatives. The position is hybrid, based in either Berlin or Barcelona.
Key responsibilities include leading analyses on user retention, primary account conversion, and subscription economics. The manager will collaborate with product, marketing, and growth teams to define objectives and key results (OKRs), develop frameworks to identify behavioral triggers for primary banking adoption, and oversee tier upgrade funnels and lifetime value modeling for premium memberships. Additionally, the role involves setting up experimentation frameworks, such as A/B testing, and contributing to the development of self-serve analytics platforms.
Candidates should have over three years of direct people management experience, leading mid-sized teams, and at least seven years as an individual contributor in analytics or data science within tech or fintech environments. Proficiency in causal inference techniques, including uplift modeling and counterfactual analysis, is essential. Strong skills in SQL and Python or R for modeling and statistical analysis are required, along with experience in data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau. A proven track record in driving revenue, retention, and executive-level product strategy through data is also necessary.
