The Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence at Xometry plays a pivotal role within the Operations Enablement team, focusing on refining strategies and executing initiatives across quoting, pricing, and large deal workflows. This position bridges the Sales and Partner teams, leveraging a deep analytical understanding of customer requirements and partner capabilities to enhance pricing, quoting, and delivery processes for complex business segments. The role is based in Waltham, MA, and requires on-site presence at least three days per week.
Key responsibilities include analyzing sales, quoting, and operations performance data to identify trends and root causes of deviations. The Senior Analyst will develop and maintain KPI frameworks across quoting and large deal workflows, build dashboards and reporting tools to provide transparency across teams, and support the definition of improvement roadmaps for quoting and large deal teams. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development of quoting models, algorithms, and performance tools, conducting deep-dive analyses to improve quote accuracy, pricing discipline, and conversion rates, and translating analytical insights into structured recommendations. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to align on action plans and tracking the impact of implemented changes are also essential duties.
Candidates should possess 4–7+ years of experience in analytics, operations, strategy, finance, consulting, or related fields. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using data to drive decisions, are essential. Proficiency in building KPI frameworks and performance reporting, advanced skills in Excel, and experience with data visualization tools are required. The role also demands experience working with large and complex data sets, strong communication skills, and the ability to present insights clearly. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Operations, or a related field is required.
The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $89,000 to $118,000 annually, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
