Senior AI-Product Engineer
Mitratech is seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to lead the transformation of software development within our AI-Enhanced Product Engineering team. This role focuses on leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate engineering processes and drive innovative AI features across our HR, Legal, and Risk SaaS products. As a senior team member, you will set the standard for technical excellence, foster a collaborative environment, and influence the technical direction of our products.
In this position, you will lead our AI-first engineering approach by architecting and implementing strategies using tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, and GPT APIs to boost team productivity. You will design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure features across our product suite, leading complex full-stack development initiatives from system architecture to back-end APIs and data layers. Additionally, you will set the standard for code quality and engineering excellence, implement testing strategies, conduct in-depth code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on building and maintaining scalable, production-grade applications. Deep expertise in modern backend or full-stack technologies such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or React is essential. Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, and GPT APIs for productivity gains is required. A strong commitment to code quality, security, and performance, along with proven technical leadership abilities and excellent communication skills in English, are also necessary.
