Senior accountant, team leader

Eurofins NSC Hungary Kft. is seeking a Senior Accountant Team Leader to oversee the comprehensive accounting functions for designated Hungarian entities within the Eurofins Group. This role involves leading a team of two accountants and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a dynamic, international environment.

The Senior Accountant Team Leader will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, including the preparation of tax returns, statistical reports, and ad hoc analyses. Key duties encompass reconciling intercompany transactions, participating in monthly closings, preparing annual financial statements and tax calculations, and coordinating with auditors during audit preparations.

Candidates must possess a registered chartered accountant qualification and have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken at an intermediate level, and advanced Excel skills are essential. The role requires independence, reliability, and a responsible approach to work. Experience in leading teams of 2-5 members and a higher education degree in finance or economics are also required.
