Senior Account Manager
Monks is seeking a versatile Senior Account Manager to join our Tokyo office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the delivery of digital creative projects, including commercial landing pages, banners, video and still assets, film projects, television commercials, and digital content. You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that projects align with client objectives and are executed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include ensuring client satisfaction, coordinating with internal teams to deliver outstanding projects, and understanding various aspects of digital production such as video and still production, landing pages, digital content creation, and e-commerce. You will immerse yourself in clients' industries, linking insights to your in-depth knowledge of platforms and content creation. Additionally, you will review and define project scopes, track progress, and maintain full visibility on milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables. Managing budgets, hours, and scope, while proactively flagging risks or changes to maintain financial and operational accuracy throughout the project lifecycle, is also essential.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of client-facing experience in digital advertising or creative production, a strong passion for digital platforms and content creation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease. Curiosity about new technologies, the ability to create compelling decks and shape proposals from both technical and commercial angles, and strong presentation skills to confidently represent the team to clients and partners are also important. Fluency in both English and Japanese is required.
