Semi Senior Intercompany Accountant
The Semi Senior Intercompany Accountant at Monks is responsible for managing and reconciling intercompany transactions across the organization's entities. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely resolution of discrepancies, while supporting month-end close and audit requirements. The position involves close collaboration with local finance teams, shared services, and corporate accounting.
Key responsibilities include processing and reconciling intercompany transactions, invoices, and balances; monitoring intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS; collaborating with regional and local finance teams to resolve discrepancies; supporting month-end and year-end close by preparing intercompany reconciliations, journals, and reports; ensuring timely and accurate processing of intercompany charges; assisting in the preparation of audit schedules; maintaining intercompany agreements; identifying process improvements; and generating periodic reports on intercompany balances and settlements.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 2–4 years of experience in accounting, intercompany processes, or financial reconciliation. A solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS is required, along with experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Strong MS Excel skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level is also required.
