Security SDK Engineer
AppsFlyer is seeking a Security SDK Engineer to join their Security SDK Team in Kyiv, Ukraine. This team is dedicated to safeguarding the integrity and authenticity of mobile SDKs across Android and iOS platforms. The role offers an opportunity for engineers passionate about mobile development and security to work on solutions that impact billions of devices worldwide.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing AppsFlyer's SDK features from design to production, with a primary focus on enhancing protection mechanisms for Android SDKs and extending support to iOS SDKs. Your work will involve improving SDK resilience against tampering and abuse, collaborating with product managers and engineers across mobile and backend teams, and engaging in research and debugging to address mobile security challenges. Additionally, you will have the chance to work with low-level mobile technologies, native code, and reverse engineering tools within an Agile environment.
Candidates should possess a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with 1–2 years of software development experience, preferably in Android development. A solid understanding of Android fundamentals and application architecture is essential, as are strong debugging and problem-solving skills. An eagerness to learn about security and low-level technologies, excellent English communication skills, and a strong ownership mindset are also important. Bonus qualifications include experience with Kotlin, Java, or Android SDK development, familiarity with C/C++ or mobile native development, and an interest in mobile security, reverse engineering, or runtime internals.
