Scientist (m/w/d) – Plattenbasierte Assays
Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions® is seeking a Scientist (m/w/d) to join our team in Vienna, Austria. This role focuses on the development, optimization, and execution of plate-based assays, particularly ELISAs and complex binding assays, within a dynamic and regulated scientific environment.
Key responsibilities include developing, establishing, and optimizing plate-based assays such as ELISA and binding assays. The scientist will plan, conduct, and analyze experimental work for research and development projects, transfer new methods into robust laboratory processes, and document procedures by creating standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the role involves applying and potentially advancing HPLC methods for protein characterization and utilizing spectroscopic methods for quantitative analysis and quality control.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. They possess substantial practical experience with ELISA and other plate-based assays, preferably with method development expertise. Familiarity with binding assays, practical experience with HPLC systems and relevant detection methods, and knowledge of spectroscopic techniques for quantitative analysis are advantageous. A structured, meticulous work approach, enjoyment of experimental laboratory work, initial experience in a GMP environment, and strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is at least EUR 2,881.97 per month (2026), with appropriate overpayment considered based on the responsibilities and demands of the role.
