Scientist, Exploratory Technology in vivo CAR-T

Legend Biotech is seeking a Scientist to join our Exploratory Technology team focused on in vivo CAR-T cell therapy development. This role is based in Philadelphia, PA, and offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative cell and gene therapy platforms within a collaborative research and development environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing research-grade lentivirus, performing lentivirus titering assays such as p24 ELISA and qPCR, and developing novel cell and gene therapy platforms. Additional duties include setting up in vitro CAR-T cell cultures, conducting functional assays like multi-color flow cytometry and cytotoxicity assays, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance pipeline development.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 3–6+ years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience in immunology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or related fields is required, with a preference for experience with viral vector systems, especially lentivirus. Strong skills in cell and molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, immune cell handling, flow cytometry, and immunoassays are essential.
