Scientist - Biochemistry

Eurofins is seeking a Scientist in Biochemistry to join our team in Portage, Michigan. The Scientist will perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products, including tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels. Responsibilities include independently operating various chromatographic systems, preparing samples for analysis, setting up and validating new analytical processes, executing method transfer protocols, documenting work for GMP compliance, and performing monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field, and be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with biochemistry techniques, electrophoresis, chromatography, aseptic techniques, and handling biological samples such as monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, antibody-drug conjugates, and vaccines. A basic understanding of instrumentation used in a biochemistry lab is also required.
