Scientific Writer
Eurofins DiscoverX is seeking a detail-oriented Scientific Writer to conceptualize and author high-quality technical documentation for its product portfolio. The writer will be responsible for developing key scientific assets—including White Papers, Application Notes, and eBooks—to support the company’s diverse product lines. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine and finalize these technical materials.
Key responsibilities include creating and revising user manuals for all products, updating existing manuals to align with current templates and product specifications, and developing technical marketing collateral such as White Papers, Application Notes, and eBooks. Additionally, the writer will be responsible for producing customer support assets like FAQs, Quick Guides, Datasheets, and website content to enhance the user experience. Collaboration with internal scientific teams is essential to ensure technical accuracy in all customer-facing materials.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Sciences field, along with 2-5 years of experience in technical writing within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and visual tools such as BioRender or Adobe Illustrator is required. Exceptional command of the English language and the ability to simplify technical jargon for diverse global audiences are essential. The candidate should also be capable of meeting tight timelines and coordinating with global teams across different time zones.
Prior experience writing for a global pharma or life sciences product company is preferred, as is familiarity with creating SEO-friendly content for blog posts and landing pages. Experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones (US/Europe) is also advantageous.
