Scientific Associate
Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions® is seeking a Scientific Associate to join our team, working directly at the client's site between Rixensart and Wavre. This role involves integrating seamlessly into the client's operations, utilizing their facilities and methodologies while upholding Eurofins' standards of service and cGMP compliance. The position offers a dynamic environment within an international team, focusing on delivering high-quality scientific support.
The Scientific Associate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing scientific documentation, including method validation protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports. The role requires collaboration with Quality Assurance (QA) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) departments to manage critical quality system elements such as deviations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and Change Controls. Additionally, the associate will perform hands-on laboratory work involving sophisticated analytical instrumentation, particularly LC-MS.
Candidates should possess a master's degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry or Biology. Proven expertise in mass spectrometry of biomolecules (peptides, proteins, lipids, and/or oligonucleotides) and chromatography (LC-MS) is essential. A minimum of two years' experience in quality control within a GMP environment is required. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing scientific documentation, effective collaboration with QA and RA departments, and experience managing quality system elements are also necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with fluency in English, are essential.
