The Science Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer Project is a remote contract role at Agency, a company dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence through high-quality training data. Your responsibilities include verifying the factual accuracy and logical soundness of the models' responses, capturing reproducible error traces, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Ideal candidates possess a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in a science field, with experience in teaching, published work, lab or field research, or science communication projects. Clear, metacognitive communication skills are essential, as you will need to effectively document and explain your findings.

Compensation ranges from $8 to $65 per hour, determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you are expected to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off do not apply.
