Sample Registration Technician
Eurofins is seeking a Sample Registration Technician to join our team on a fixed-term contract until September 2026. This part-time role involves working Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm, with an initial two-month training period on Mondays and Tuesdays during the same hours. Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in life sciences, offering a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to ensure the safety and authenticity of products across various industries.
In this position, you will be responsible for accurately registering all food microbiology samples for analysis and ensuring their timely transfer to the laboratory. Key duties include accepting sample deliveries, liaising with couriers and customers to coordinate sample dispatch, maintaining up-to-date sample logs, and ensuring proper storage conditions for samples upon receipt and prior to processing. Additionally, you will handle incoming and outgoing customer communications and collaborate with other departments to ensure correct sample preparation.
The ideal candidate will have a GCSE-level education and experience working as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, effective communication abilities, and self-motivation are essential. No prior laboratory experience is required, as full training will be provided.
