Sample Registration Support Technician (Unpacking) - Tues-Sat, 3rd Shift
Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environmental is seeking a Sample Registration Support Technician to join their team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This full-time, third-shift position operates from Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 am to 8:30 am, with initial training conducted Monday through Friday during first shift hours. Eurofins is a global leader in life sciences, offering a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to ensure the safety and authenticity of products across various industries.
In this role, the technician will be responsible for receiving and unpacking all incoming laboratory samples, recording their temperatures upon arrival, and documenting any discrepancies. Additional duties include organizing samples by project, transferring them to the Sample Administration area for entry, and assisting in training new employees within the department. The technician will also handle the cleaning and return of coolers and kits, as well as support tasks in Sample Administration and Bottle Preparation as needed.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for the entire shift. Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is also necessary. Ideal candidates will have strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
The position offers a starting pay rate of $17.75 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.
