Sample Receiving Technician, - Environment Testing- N. Kingstown

Eurofins is seeking a Sample Receiving Technician to join our Environment Testing team in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of environmental samples and supporting our laboratory operations.

The Sample Receiving Technician is responsible for handling environmental samples in compliance with state and local EPA regulations. Key duties include documenting sample receipt, ensuring proper storage, and overseeing the disposal of samples. The technician will also prepare client bottle orders, pack and ship samples via FedEx, and utilize the laboratory information management system to track and store sample containers. Effective communication with the Sample Receiving Manager regarding any discrepancies is essential.

Candidates should possess exceptional multitasking abilities and strong attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is crucial. Familiarity with computers and the capacity to lift up to 25 pounds are required. Professional proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is necessary. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is mandatory.

Eurofins offers competitive compensation ranging from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, and dental and vision options. The position is available for either part-time (4:00 pm–7:30 pm) or full-time (11:00 am–7:30 pm) schedules, with an anticipated start date in January 2026.
