Sample Preparation Technician I

Eurofins is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician I to join our team. This role involves preparing samples for analysis, ensuring sample homogeneity through tasks such as labeling, transferring, milling, blending, and weighing. The technician will work closely with internal teams to maintain quality standards and support laboratory operations.

Key responsibilities include performing sample preparation tasks to ensure sample homogeneity, effectively communicating sample information, addressing discrepancies, handling internal customer inquiries, and assisting with equipment maintenance and basic repairs. The technician will also participate in cross-training between food and dietary supplement preparation procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in a detail-oriented position. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication skills are essential. The ability to identify and communicate customer service needs, resolve conflicts, and maintain accurate documentation is also required.
