Sample Login Administrative Support Specialist – Eurofins Built Environment Testing East – Cary, NC
Eurofins Built Environment Testing East in Cary, NC, is seeking a Sample Login Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the efficient handling and processing of environmental samples. The primary responsibilities of this position include accepting and signing for deliveries, utilizing equipment such as dollies and forklifts to transport shipments within the sample receiving area, and opening coolers to inspect shipment contents. The specialist will verify documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for, prepare samples for analysis, enter records into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and distribute samples to appropriate departments. Maintaining strict safety and quality control procedures, organizing and restocking samples, and keeping the work area clean and organized are also key duties.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Physical capability to lift and move heavy boxes is essential. Proficiency in using LIMS software, basic math skills, effective communication, and the ability to work well within a team are required. The role also demands time management, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety procedures. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship and professional proficiency in English are mandatory.
