Sample Control Technician I - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast - Raleigh (Cary, NC)
Eurofins is seeking a Sample Control Technician I to join our Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast team in Cary, NC. The Sample Control Technician I is responsible for logging and tracking the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the laboratory, verifying sample integrity, and ensuring accurate documentation. Key duties include preparing bottle kits for clients, determining sample priority levels, labeling and storing samples according to procedures, and disposing of samples and waste in compliance with regulations. The technician may also perform sample pick-up and delivery, as well as other customer service or courier duties as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check. A Department of Transportation (DOT) Certificate for shipping hazardous chemicals may be required within 90 days of hire. Additional certifications, such as a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card, may also be necessary. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in basic computer applications are essential.
The position offers a pay rate of $17 to $19 per hour, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
