Sample Control Technician
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sample Control Technician to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. As a global leader in analytical testing services, Eurofins operates over 900 laboratories in 61 countries, providing comprehensive support across various industries to ensure product safety and quality. This role is integral to our laboratory operations, focusing on the management and processing of client samples.
The Sample Control Technician is responsible for receiving, logging, and tracking all incoming and outgoing samples, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols. Key duties include preparing bottle kits for clients, verifying chain of custody forms, labeling and storing samples appropriately, and coordinating the shipment of samples to other laboratories as needed. The technician also maintains inventory, monitors storage conditions, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid U.S. driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Preferred qualifications include experience in customer service, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $19, commensurate with experience.
