Sample Bottles/Specialist (Packing/Order Assembly) - M-F, 1st Shift
The Sample Bottles Specialist at Eurofins is responsible for preserving bottles, packing bottle orders according to client specifications, stocking shelves and supplies, printing bottle orders when required, shipping bottle orders using the FedEx system, and preparing acid dilutions. The primary responsibility will be packing orders. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and additional hours as required. Training will be conducted during the same hours.
Key responsibilities include accurately packing bottle orders following guidelines from client and company standard operating procedures (SOPs), preserving bottles according to SOP guidelines, restocking shelves with the proper bottle types, maintaining a clean and organized work area, preparing dilutions of acids used in preserving bottles, and shipping bottle orders using the FedEx system. The specialist is expected to conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner and perform other duties as assigned.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to understand and follow SOPs and work instructions, and the capability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English, is required. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is also necessary. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, previous relevant experience, production experience, and packing experience or previous experience working in a lab with samples.
