Sample Administration Specialist- Tuesday-Saturday
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sample Administration Specialist to join our BioPharmaceutical Sample Administration team. This full-time position operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, at our Lancaster, PA facility. Eurofins is a global leader in analytical testing services, committed to ensuring the safety and authenticity of products across various industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling communications and paperwork for all couriers arriving at the lab, efficiently receiving and unpacking sample kits and coolers, and accurately registering samples into the Laboratory Information Management System. Additional duties include labeling samples, selecting appropriate storage locations, processing internal environmental monitoring samples, and managing incoming informational calls and emails regarding expected samples. Interaction with project managers and technical staff is also a key component of the position.
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities and keen attention to detail. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, coupled with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude, is essential. Candidates should be capable of learning new techniques, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining accurate records, following instructions, and complying with company policies. Logical thinking and deductive reasoning are also important attributes.
