Sample Accessioner (entry level)

The Sample Accessioner role at Eurofins involves the accurate intake, processing, and management of DNA testing cases, ensuring compliance with chain-of-custody requirements and client expectations. This position is integral to the timely processing of samples, from receipt to final reporting, within a high-volume laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities include processing and verifying incoming sample packages, accurately inputting and auditing patient and contract information into the Laboratory Information System, managing case assignments, and preparing and sending final reports and chain-of-custody documents. The role also involves collaborating with internal departments to facilitate case resolution and attending team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on policies and procedures.

Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED, with one to two years of previous data entry experience preferred. Essential skills include strong data entry capabilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Knowledge of record-keeping and chain-of-custody protocols is a plus.

The position offers a compensation of $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, along with comprehensive full-time benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.
