Sales Trainer
Octopus Electric Vehicles is seeking a dynamic Sales Trainer to enhance the capabilities of our sales team in Weybridge, UK. This pivotal role focuses on equipping both new hires and experienced EV Experts with the necessary tools and confidence to deliver exceptional service, aligning with our mission to promote sustainable transportation.
The Sales Trainer will lead comprehensive onboarding programs for new EV Experts, ensuring they are well-prepared to engage with customers effectively. Responsibilities include delivering training on sales methodologies, product knowledge, and company values, as well as monitoring progress to identify and address any skill gaps promptly.
Key duties involve conducting regular learning and development sessions to enhance sales and interpersonal skills, championing our sales methodology by refining training materials, and collaborating with Sales Managers to develop tailored workshops based on team performance trends. Additionally, the role encompasses designing and updating training materials, maintaining a structured training roadmap, and utilizing customer feedback to guide training focus and improve the overall customer experience.
Candidates should possess proven experience in delivering impactful training within fast-paced, phone-based sales environments, a deep understanding of structured sales methodologies, and the ability to adapt training delivery to various learning styles. Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure effectiveness, a genuine interest in electric vehicles and sustainable energy, and a proactive, self-starting attitude are essential.
This full-time, hybrid position offers a generous car allowance and requires working 2-3 days per week at our inspiring Weybridge office.
