Sales & Marketing Manager IVD Molecular Diagnostics
Eurofins is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and expand its In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Molecular Diagnostics business in Italy. This role involves working within the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director, and requires regular national and occasional international travel.
The primary responsibilities include defining and implementing sales strategies aligned with company objectives, leading the sales team to achieve commercial targets, and developing key account strategies for hospitals and laboratories. Additionally, the role involves overseeing pricing strategies, managing tenders and contracts, and monitoring sales performance. Marketing duties encompass developing plans for molecular diagnostic products, coordinating product launches, conducting market analysis, and supervising the creation of marketing materials. The manager will also oversee customer support services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service activities and collaboration with operations and supply chain teams.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology; an MBA or advanced scientific degree is advantageous. A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the IVD sector is required, with strong knowledge of the Molecular Diagnostics market, particularly RT-PCR; experience with digital PCR and NGS is beneficial. A solid understanding of the Italian clinical laboratory landscape and key opinion leaders, proven leadership experience in medium-sized or growing organizations, and experience managing customer support functions are essential. Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
