Sales Development Representative
Flex is a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in New York City, dedicated to revolutionizing the rent payment experience. We enable users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that aligns with their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower renters with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. As our sales organization continues to expand, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing team.
In this role, the SDR will focus on building pipelines for the sales team to help Flex partner with Property Management Companies. Responsibilities include driving new client acquisition, building and managing a robust pipeline in CRM, and establishing relationships with senior executives and decision-makers through outbound efforts. The SDR will also follow up quickly and efficiently with inbound leads, educate prospective customers on the value of Flex, handle ad-hoc projects for the sales organization, and collaborate with the Accounts team to build strategic adoption plans for new customers.
The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of professional experience with a consistent track record of quota attainment. They should be adept at developing relationships with middle management and ownership quickly and effectively, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. Proficiency in phone, email, and social media prospecting is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A self-starter mentality and a hunger for success are key attributes for this position.
Flex offers a competitive compensation package, with On Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 USD for candidates in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle, and $65,000 to $72,250 USD for those in Salt Lake City.
