Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative II to drive sales pipeline generation and revenue growth. This role involves understanding customer needs, prospecting relevant accounts, and engaging potential clients through proactive selling efforts. As one of the initial touchpoints for prospects, you will set the tone for the subsequent sales cycle, making this an excellent opportunity to enhance prospecting and discovery skills aligned with our Commercial and Enterprise teams.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Commercial and Enterprise sales teams, developing account knowledge and relationship maps, and identifying use case opportunities through direct engagement and insight tools. You will be responsible for setting qualified prospect meetings with Sales Executives, strategically prospecting key account targets and contacts, and conducting thoughtful and engaging conversations via phone and email. Additionally, you will manage multiple outbound sequence campaigns, document all activities in and monitor social platforms for opportunities and leads.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Sales or Business Development role, a strong desire to learn and grow, and a competitive, self-motivated, and driven attitude. Essential skills include understanding customer pain points and requirements, managing multiple requests and time demands concurrently, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. A passion for working with new technologies and concepts, resilience in the face of adversity, and experience with CRM, sales engagement platforms, and prospecting tools are also preferred.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $50,000, with additional market-competitive incentive opportunities.
