Sales Development Representative
Canonical is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join its Americas team. This role involves collaborating with regional sales and marketing teams to identify customer projects that align with Canonical's product offerings, thereby promoting the company's presence across various industries and geographies. Canonical is a global software company known for publishing Ubuntu and open-source enterprise solutions for cloud, developer, IoT, and AI applications.
Key responsibilities include handling inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat; executing outbound sales and marketing campaigns; traveling to events and conferences worldwide to present at booths and drive face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities; collaborating across multiple teams and senior stakeholders to achieve results; working directly with marketing on campaigns; researching information about prospective customers; generating a multi-million pound pipeline; identifying prospects and market trends; helping define team processes and policies; liaising with new and existing customers by setting up and attending meetings while actively mapping accounts to identify new opportunities; and accurately creating, updating, maintaining, and nurturing leads on global opportunities.

Canonical offers a competitive base pay, which depends on various factors including geographical location, level of experience, knowledge, and skills.
