Sales Commissions Analyst
The Sales Commissions Analyst at Block will be a key member of the Global Go-To-Market (GTM) and Commercial Operations team, which focuses on building scalable solutions to support the Sales and Account Management teams in seller acquisition, growth, and retention. This role is integral to managing and optimizing the incentives program for the Revenue organization, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with company objectives.
Key responsibilities include calculating commissions based on established compensation plans and business policies, ensuring accuracy through advanced Google Sheets techniques, and coordinating commission payouts with Payroll and Finance teams. The analyst will also handle inquiries from the sales team regarding commission statements or plan interpretations and test commission calculation systems to maintain compliance with compensation plans.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical field and have at least two years of experience in sales commissions, accounting, audit, or related analytical work. Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and intermediate SQL is required. Experience with incentive management systems like Pigment, Anaplan, Xactly, or CaptivateIQ is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for building relationships and influencing cross-functional teams.
