Sales Associate

Studs, a leading ear piercing and earring brand, is seeking a Sales Associate to join their team in Nashville, TN. Recognized as one of the "10 most innovative companies in retail for 2023" by Fast Company, Studs offers an end-to-end Earscaping® experience that combines ear piercing with aftercare and a wide selection of earrings in a cool, fun, and welcoming environment. The Sales Associate will play a vital role in delivering a welcoming and memorable experience for every Studs customer.

In this hands-on, customer-facing role, the Sales Associate will contribute to sales and service goals by delivering exceptional customer experiences on the floor. Responsibilities include welcoming and educating customers about the Studs experience, products, and piercing services, serving as a brand ambassador through personalized, one-on-one styling and service, maintaining accuracy and flow across key operational areas including appointments, POS, and inventory restocks, following studio protocols and using judgment to escalate issues or customer concerns as needed, and supporting the upkeep of the studio environment in line with visual and brand standards.

The ideal candidate should have prior retail or customer-facing experience, though it is not required. They must be available to work a flexible schedule of varying days and hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with at least one weekend day per week. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) and lift or move at least 20 lbs. Candidates should be able to handle chemicals safely and follow all safety protocols, bring energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment, and receive feedback openly while contributing to a supportive, inclusive team culture.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $16, with benefits such as paid safe and sick leave accrual, FSA health and commuter tax-advantaged accounts, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and exclusive employee discounts on piercings and jewelry.
