Sales Account Executive (Laboratory Testing) – Eurofins Built Environment Testing East – New England
The Sales Account Executive is a client-facing outside sales role within Eurofins' Built Environment Testing Division, operating across the New England states. This position focuses on identifying and managing client accounts and business opportunities, particularly in indoor air quality testing services such as mold, asbestos, and Legionella assessments. Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company dedicated to providing analytical testing services that ensure the safety and authenticity of products across various industries.
Key responsibilities include maximizing market share and profitability in the environmental analytical services market, establishing and maintaining productive client relationships, and acquiring new accounts to sustain business growth. The role involves traveling throughout the assigned territory, approximately 50% of the time, to meet with clients, conduct cold calls, and cultivate existing relationships. The Account Executive will also act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring customer needs are effectively communicated and met.
Candidates should possess a degree in sciences or a related field, though this is preferred but not required. A minimum of 2-3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry is essential. Knowledge of environmental laboratory testing, particularly in indoor air quality, USP797, or Legionella testing, is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a valid driver's license are also required.
The position offers a minimum base salary of $70,000 per year, with additional commission opportunities.
