The role involves approximately 50% travel within the assigned territory to meet clients, requiring proactive engagement through cold calling and initiative to cultivate existing relationships. Candidates should have a degree in sciences or a related field, though this is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 2-3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry is required, along with knowledge of the environmental industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in an unstructured environment, are essential. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are also necessary.

The position offers a minimum base salary of $70,000 per year, with potential for higher compensation based on specific sales experience in environmental testing, particularly in IAQ assessments.
