The Sales Account Executive role at Eurofins Built Environment Testing East is a client-facing position focused on managing and expanding client accounts within the New England region. The Built Environment Testing Division specializes in Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments, including testing for mold, asbestos, and Legionella.
Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining productive relationships with clients, and achieving individual revenue goals. The role involves approximately 50% travel within the assigned territory to meet clients, requiring proactive engagement through cold calling and initiative to cultivate existing relationships. The Account Executive will also collaborate with internal teams to communicate client needs and ensure service delivery.
Candidates should have a degree in sciences or a related field, though this is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 2-3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry is required, along with knowledge of the environmental industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in an unstructured environment, are essential. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are also necessary.
The position offers a minimum base salary of $70,000 per year, with potential for higher compensation based on specific sales experience in environmental testing, particularly in IAQ assessments.
