Safety and Security Specialist
Fever, a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Safety and Security Specialist to enhance its operations across North America. This role involves collaborating with the global Health and Safety Manager to develop and implement safety initiatives in workplaces, live events, and high-profile experiences. The position offers significant autonomy to influence and elevate safety and security standards, contributing directly to Fever's mission of creating safe, world-class entertainment experiences.
Key responsibilities include leading and continuously improving safety and security programs to ensure alignment with global standards and regulatory compliance. The specialist will oversee safety and security measures for daily operations and provide on-the-ground support for major local productions. Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and training sessions to foster a strong safety culture is essential. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate documentation for audits, coordinating emergency responses, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage incidents and crises effectively.
Candidates should have 4–6 years of experience in health and safety, security, or crisis management, with the ability to operate across both domains. A solid understanding of workplace safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk assessment frameworks is required, along with familiarity with crisis management methodologies. The role demands strong organizational skills, proactivity, and the ability to work independently. Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a matrix reporting environment is crucial. Professional certifications in Health & Safety (e.g., OSHA, IOSH) and/or Security (e.g., CPP, PSP) are advantageous.
The position offers an attractive compensation package starting from $80,000 annually.
