Revenue Analyst

Monks is seeking a Revenue Analyst to join its Corporate team in Mexico City, Mexico. This role involves supporting the finance team in executing billing operations, conducting revenue recognition analysis, and implementing scalable systems and processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency within the organization.

Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts, insertion orders, and statements of work to ensure appropriate approvals and compliance with IFRS 15 requirements. The analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with business partners to establish appropriate revenue scheduling and work with delivery teams to resolve proof of delivery discrepancies promptly. Additionally, the role involves reconciling cost of goods sold accruals and bills monthly to accurately reflect net revenue, developing and maintaining metrics for senior leadership, identifying process improvements, and coordinating with other departments to enhance billing and accounting process efficiency. The analyst will also assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of accounting experience, including at least three years focused on revenue or billing. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize competing demands. Experience working with various computer systems and large datasets is important, and familiarity with the AdTech industry or technology startups is preferred.
