Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer

Russell McVeagh is seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer to join its Auckland litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a market-leading practice that advises on significant and high-profile restructurings and insolvencies across New Zealand. The primary responsibilities include advising a broad range of stakeholders, such as credit providers, borrowers, directors, and equity investors, on various restructuring and recovery options. This encompasses workouts, balance sheet restructurings, formal insolvency appointments, and enforcement actions. The role also involves providing guidance on insolvency processes, including voluntary administration, deeds of company arrangement, and statutory management.

Candidates should possess 1-4 years of legal experience, preferably with a background in litigation, banking, or corporate advisory.
