Research Associate

The Research Associate will be responsible for executing organic synthesis reactions at the laboratory scale, purifying products using various techniques, and analyzing and identifying compounds. Accurate documentation of laboratory experiments in electronic lab notebooks is essential. The role also involves handling specific laboratory equipment such as Flash Chromatography, H-Cube, MPLC, Rotavapor, and UV spectrophotometers.

Candidates should have a professional interest in organic chemistry synthesis and prior laboratory experience, particularly in synthesis tasks. Proficiency in basic laboratory operations, organic nomenclature, formulation, and recognition of functional groups is required. Experience with equipment like MPLC, Rotavapor, high vacuum systems, fume hoods, inert atmospheres, H-Cube, microwaves, flow chemistry equipment, electrochemistry, and automatic synthesizers is advantageous. A medium level of written English is necessary for daily electronic lab notebook entries.
