Regulatory Expert – Efficacy (junior)
Eurofins Agroscience Services Regulatory Spain, S.L.U. is seeking a dedicated Regulatory Expert – Efficacy (junior) to join our Regulatory department. This role focuses on generating and preparing Section 3 (Efficacy) Biological Assessment Dossiers, Part B draft Registration Reports, and other essential documents to support product registration submissions for our clients. Eurofins Agroscience Group is a leading service provider in Europe, conducting field and laboratory studies to assess the safety and efficacy of new substances and organisms for humans and the environment.
The primary responsibilities include adhering to regulatory guidelines and templates, assessing client efficacy data through data gap analysis and preliminary risk assessments, and reviewing raw data and statistical analyses to produce data summaries for dossiers. The role also involves preparing summary tables, interpreting scientific data with critical assessments to ensure scientific rigor, formatting and compiling dossiers within agreed timelines, and assisting in validating strategies for dossier preparation, including experimental programs aligned with European and national data requirements. Additionally, the position requires maintaining close liaison with study management staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting of studies included in submissions, and participating in internal and external training, efficacy conferences, seminars, and client meetings as needed.
Candidates should possess robust knowledge in regulatory agronomy, obtained through a combination of education (Master of Science or PhD) and professional experience. The role demands the ability to independently define and conduct regulatory research, share technical knowledge with team members, develop scientific relationships and partnerships to address business objectives, and introduce new ideas and processes that add value to the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel, and working knowledge of ARM are essential. Strong interpersonal and behavioral skills are required, including teamwork, enthusiasm, realistic problem-solving, independent thinking, effective time management, and good judgment. Excellent communication skills are also necessary, with the ability to make effective scientific and business presentations, discuss project goals clearly, and prepare concise reports for internal and external circulation.
