Regulated Waste Disposal Technician - Entry Level

Eurofins is seeking an Entry-Level Regulated Waste Disposal Technician to join our team in Lancaster, PA. This role is integral to our laboratory operations, focusing on the safe and efficient management of hazardous waste materials. As part of a global leader in analytical testing services, the technician will contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment.

The technician's primary responsibilities include packaging expired chemicals for shipment or disposal, transferring contents from satellite containers to bulk containers for laboratory reuse, and maintaining an organized chemical storage area free of fire hazards. Additional duties involve shipping hazardous waste in compliance with RCRA time limits, tracking waste volumes for corporate and EPA reporting, implementing waste minimization plans, managing chemical inventory, and supporting other departments as needed.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail. The role requires the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude. The ability to learn new techniques, multitask, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies is also necessary.
