Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. As a pioneer in application security, Black Duck provides SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions that help organizations build secure, high-quality software. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of minimizing risks while maximizing speed and productivity in software development.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving top-line sales revenue within a designated list of accounts and geographic area. Key duties include promoting the adoption of enterprise agreements, building strong relationships with executive decision-makers, and guiding prospects through a methodical sales process to ensure customer success. Maintaining accurate Salesforce information is also a critical aspect of this role.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles. Experience in selling multi-year enterprise licensing agreements and securing six- or seven-figure deals is essential. Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills are required.

Preferred qualifications include experience in software engineering tools sales, security software sales, and large enterprise account management. The position is based in Tokyo, Japan, and requires a commitment to meeting clients in person and working from our office in Shibuya-Ku.
