As a Refueling Supplier Engineer at Oklo, you will oversee the design and fabrication of advanced reactor fuel handling systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of the Aurora plant, a pioneering project in the field of advanced fission power.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing technical specifications, statements of work, and drawing packages for refueling equipment. You will manage vendor design development to meet plant requirements, perform technical reviews of design documents, and support document preparation such as installation procedures and system descriptions. Additionally, you will be expected to travel domestically and internationally to fabricators and subcontractor facilities as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of relevant technical or project management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with external manufacturers and engineering consultants. Experience managing design-build and build-to-print contracts is also required.

Oklo offers a competitive salary range of $78,000 to $200,000, depending on experience. Benefits include flexible time off, equity options, 401(k) plans, health insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSA), and flexible work hours. Remote employees are required to travel to headquarters in Santa Clara, CA, twice a quarter for team meetings and company events.
