Referral Manager - NYC
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a Referral Manager for their New York City office. The firm employs over 6,000 individuals across the United States, all united by the mission: For the People. The Referral Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with law firms throughout the territory, presenting the firm's value proposition, educating partners, and keeping them informed about the various service areas and opportunities Morgan & Morgan offers.
In this role, the Referral Manager will organize and plan their schedule in advance, setting up meetings with new law firms, and conducting follow-up calls and emails. They will remain engaged with all active and prospective accounts, ensuring leads are handled effectively. The position requires attending sales meetings, events, and internal training seminars, acquiring a substantial number of leads, and consistently meeting or exceeding expectations and goals. Building and maintaining client relationships, tracking and recording metrics throughout the sales process, and understanding and staying updated with industry and competitive landscape knowledge are also key responsibilities.
Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of Business Development or Account Management experience, preferably in Legal Sales, is required. Established relationships with personal injury firms in the area are advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to harness financial data to inform decisions are essential.
This position offers a base salary of $80,000 USD, complemented by a generous bonus structure. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
